Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry Level Civil Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will support a variety of substation, T-line projects and construction projects, gaining valuable experience in civil engineering design, project management, and construction oversight. Duties
- Assist senior engineers with project execution, planning, scheduling, and coordination to ensure timely project delivery
- Prepare and review technical drawings and calculations
- Contribute to system design efforts related to water treatment, wastewater treatment, hydraulics, and land surveying
- Aid in construction estimating processes by compiling data on materials, labor, and equipment costs
- Participate in construction inspection activities to verify adherence to design specifications and standards
- Assist with technical writing tasks including reports, project documentation, and system descriptions
- Support project engineering tasks such as scheduling using Project Management software like Project scheduling tools or MS Project
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on pipeline projects, system design initiatives, and land development plans
Skills
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system layouts for civil engineering projects
- Strong technical writing skills for reports, manuals, and project documentation
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently
