As a member of the Production Artist, the employee is expected to make every effort to optimize their performance and engage in activity on a daily basis that will facilitate this goal. Responsibilities include:
- Checking the submitted art files are complete and workable.
- Preparing art files for various printing processes and making appropriate adjustments when necessary
- Communicating clearly with customers regarding art-related questions and issues
- Managing projects individually and as a team
- Quality checking project samples to ensure proper print and product specifications
- Reporting defective and/or incorrect items to the Sales and Purchasing Departments
- Organizing and filing samples and project folders
- Creating banners and graphics for website
- Updating and maintaining product displays in cabinets and conference rooms
- Basic product photography and photo editing
- Designing assorted marketing materials (brochure, stickers, promotion cards, etc.) and other design possibilities
- Assisting Art Director and senior Art Department staff, as needed
- Assisting Management with assignments and tasks, as needed
- Continuously improving through feedback and experience
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
