Overview

Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair industrial and commercial electrical systems, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage circuits.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and system layouts.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults quickly and efficiently.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics on complex systems, ensuring compliance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association standards) and NEC (National Electrical Code).
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on construction sites or during renovation projects, following all electrical safety procedures.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring installations, repairs, and upgrades accurately.
- Ensure all work adheres to local electrical codes, schematics, blueprints reading standards, and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician with a focus on industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams with ease.
- Experience working on construction sites or during renovation projects involving complex electrical wiring tasks.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance standards and local electrical codes is essential.
- Skilled in troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low voltage systems enhances your ability to manage modern industrial automation.
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage wiring projects and industrial electrical systems is highly desirable.
