Job Summary
Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Staff member and be a vital part of delivering exceptional food experiences! This energetic role involves supporting food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking to meet quality standards and presentation expectations
- Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to all food safety regulations and protocols
- Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of ingredients, equipment, and supplies using safe lifting practices
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
- Participate in DH setups, food plating, and special event support as needed
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and deliver excellent guest service
Requirements
- Prior restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred; culinary or hotel experience is a plus
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with agility
- Experience with food service operations including serving, bussing, and basic cooking skills
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team and provide excellent guest services
- Previous experience in cafeteria settings or large-scale food events is desirable, but will train the right person
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
