What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and/or critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established channels.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Control access at entry points by verifying credentials, screening visitors and/or deliveries, and monitoring the movement of people and vehicles in accordance with site protocols.

Support facility operations by observing equipment areas, restricted spaces, and high-value materials, while communicating with site contacts and public authorities when needed.
Minimum Requirements:

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

An armed guard card and/or license is required.

Level III Armed Certification is required in Texas only.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
