The Customer Service Manager is responsible for overseeing all customer service functions, serving as the primary liaison between the company and its customers, and ensuring accurate order processing, timely delivery, and effective customer communication. This role also manages customer-related documentation, system data, and administrative support functions while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Manage all customer service functions and departmental operations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and customer-related issues.
Maintain strong customer relationships and provide timely, professional support.
Verify customer orders for accuracy and ensure on-time delivery.
Review shipping documentation for accuracy prior to shipment.
Coordinate and attend customer meetings and conference calls, record meeting minutes, and distribute them to appropriate personnel.
Serve as the Security Administrator for all customer portals.
Maintain and update the Customer Website Communications Matrix.
Develop, update, and maintain customer work instructions and Shipping Matrix documentation.
Maintain Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) master data.
Update and maintain the DCS part number matrix.
Maintain part number pricing (PNP) systems and associated files.
Maintain departmental records and documentation.
Manage office supply inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
Answer incoming telephone calls and direct them to the appropriate personnel.
Manage visitor sign-in procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
Provide backup support for the Customer Service Specialist as needed.
Maintain customer records and departmental filing systems.
Perform other duties as assigned.
