Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled EPIC Hospital Billing Analyst to join our healthcare information management team. This role involves managing and optimizing hospital billing processes through the EPIC electronic health record (EHR) system, ensuring accurate and efficient revenue cycle operations. Key responsibilities include analyzing billing data within EPIC, supporting system design and implementation, and collaborating across departments to improve billing workflows. The analyst will utilize advanced data management and reporting tools to enhance revenue cycle performance, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Duties
- The Hospital Billing (HB) and HB Claims Analyst will provide production support for Epic HB applications, focusing on ticket resolution, system maintenance, and operational stability.
- This role is not implementation or build‑focused but instead ensures smooth day‑to‑day operations while assisting with upcoming migration efforts.
- Analysts will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize systems, and document changes, ensuring compliance and efficiency during transitions.
- Production Support: Provide daily support for Epic Hospital Billing applications.
- Ticket Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve user‑reported issues efficiently.
- System Maintenance: Perform ongoing application maintenance and optimization.
- Operational Stability: Support “keep the lights on” activities to ensure system reliability.
- Migration Support: Assist with Epic migration initiatives by providing operational and application support.
- Collaboration: Work with operational, clinical, and technical teams to resolve issues.
- Documentation: Record issues, resolutions, and system changes for compliance and tracking.
MUST HAVE:
- 6+ years of EPIC Hospital Billing (HB) experience.
- Strong Epic HB Claims experience (preferred for HB Claims Analyst openings).
- Extensive production support experience including ticket resolution, troubleshooting, and application maintenance.
- Experience supporting Epic upgrades, migrations, or healthcare system transitions.
- Strong knowledge of Epic Resolute Hospital Billing, healthcare revenue cycle, claims processing, and billing workflows.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Epic HB and/or Epic HB Claims Certification strongly preferred.
Shift Timing: 8AM-5PM
Weekly schedule: M-F

Pay: $75.00 - $80.00 per hour
