Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at a residential condominium. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and well-maintained for all residents.
Key responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining common areas, performing light plumbing and electrical work, minor carpentry and painting tasks, and promptly addressing maintenance-related issues reported by residents. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, a strong eye for detail, and the ability to work independently while delivering high-quality service.
This is a hands-on role requiring a well-rounded knowledge of general maintenance and a customer-focused mindset.
Primary Job Duties:
· Performs a variety of cleaning/maintenance duties as assigned including but not limited to sweeping, mopping, shampooing, dusting, polishing, trash disposal, replacing light bulbs and window cleaning
· Empties/removes trash
· Reports any discrepancies or deficiencies to Director
· Completes daily work orders as scheduled
· Maintains assigned equipment in good working condition
· Inspects all assigned areas daily and reports all cleaning and maintenance discrepancies to Director
· Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing work
· Ability to properly utilize new equipment and follow safety procedures prior to using this equipment
· Maintains friendly and professional attitude
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
