Optical Technician I

Responsibilities of the Optical Technician I
- Help prepare and handle delicate optical components
- Execute fine grinding and polishing operations using various equipment and hand tools
- Inspect work for quality and measure for conformance to specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Perform additional tasks as assigned
Qualifications of the Optical Technician I
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced technicians
- Comfort working with your hands and handling precision equipment
- Ability to work effectively in a team and follow detailed instructions
- Technical training or hands-on experience in manufacturing is a plus
- Basic understanding of optical principles or manufacturing processes is helpful but not required
