St. Luke's Health System is looking for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible genetic counselor to join our collaborative team of six genetic counselors.
What to Expect:
- This position will be the sole genetic counselor at the St. Luke's Cancer Institute in Meridian, Idaho where patients receive care from a compassionate team of medical, radiation, and gynecologic oncology specialists along with an on-site pharmacy, lab, and a wide range of supportive services.
- The genetic counselor will evaluate patients for hereditary predisposition to cancer and benign hematologic conditions, providing genetic counseling and coordinating care for the patient and family.
- The genetic counselor will serve as a resource to physicians, hospital staff, and patients/families at the Cancer Institute in Meridian.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Master's Degree
- Experience: 0 years
- Licenses/Certifications: Certified or Board eligible, licensure from the state of practice, or provisional license before hire date
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board certified with at least 1 year of experience as an oncology genetic counselor
