Location: Fairfield, NJ
Position Type: Full-Time, In-Office
Compensation: $55,000 – $65,000 annually plus Quarterly Bonuses

Position Overview:
Advanced Recovery Group is a commercial collections agency seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our growing legal department.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with civil litigation, debt collection litigation, New York civil procedure, pre and post-judgment enforcement, and NYSCEF filings. This role requires a highly organized and self-motivated individual capable of managing high-volume litigation matters in a fast-paced environment.

- Summons & Complaints
- Default Judgments
- Summary Judgments
- Motions
- Affidavits
- Stipulations
- UCC Filings
- Restraining Notices
- Information Subpoenas
- Executions
- Post-Judgment Enforcement Documents
- Prepare and organize exhibits and supporting litigation documentation
- File legal documents through NYSCEF and other court e-filing systems
- Maintain and monitor litigation deadlines and case progress
- Input and manage new litigation files within internal systems
- Maintain accurate CRM notes and litigation updates
- Draft and manage professional legal email correspondence with attorneys, courts, process servers, clients, and vendors
- Execute on judgments and identify appropriate financial institutions and entities for service and enforcement
- Conduct corporate research, UCC searches, and asset investigations
- Track files throughout the collections and litigation process using Excel, Airtable, and internal systems
- Assist attorneys and management with case preparation and litigation workflow management
- Monitor pre and post-judgment litigation matters from start to finish
Qualifications
- Pre and post-judgment litigation experience required
- Civil litigation experience required
- Strong knowledge of New York Civil Procedure required
- Experience with NYSCEF filing systems required
- Experience drafting litigation documents and motion practice required
- Familiarity with Merchant Cash Advance litigation is a plus
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Airtable, and litigation systems
- Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment
