Summary
Responsible for the care of member’s/guest’s children while parents are utilizing the facility.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes set curriculum for WellWay Kids participants.
- Actively instructs Kids participants while on shift.
- Maintains an environment healthy and safe for children’s use.
- Greets all customers to the WellWay Kids with a warm and friendly manner.
- Respects the rights and privacy of others and holds staff member information in strict confidence.
- Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with policies.
- Maintains compliance with all policies and procedures.
- Maintains the health and safety of all users of the WellWay facilities.
- Acts as a liaison to members/guests with inquiries regarding WelLWay Kids policies and procedures.
- Maintains child, parent, and staff confidentiality regarding personal information.
- Participates actively in mandatory meetings and in-services.
- Observes, records, and reports any injuries about the children under their care.
- Maintains a neat and orderly play area at all times.
- Provides, supervises, and assists with age-appropriate activities for children under their care.
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
- Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, climb and lift up to 50 pounds.
