Recruiter 3 – Talent Acquisition Specialist
Location: Lafayette, IN
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Duration: 6-month contract opportunity to start
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Recruiter 3/Senior Recruiter to support a growing manufacturing organization in Lafayette, IN. This role will manage full-cycle recruiting efforts for professional-level positions, partnering closely with hiring managers and leadership teams to identify, attract, and hire top talent.
The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting for engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, technical, or quality-focused roles and be comfortable managing multiple open requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary recruiting partner for assigned hiring managers and business leaders
- Manage full lifecycle recruiting activities including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer support
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies using platforms such as LinkedIn, Indeed, and other recruiting tools
- Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for specialized professional roles
- Review resumes and present qualified candidates to hiring teams
- Manage candidate progress through applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a positive candidate experience
- Track recruiting metrics, pipeline activity, and hiring progress
- Support recruiting initiatives and process improvements as needed
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes
- Strong sourcing experience using platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed
- Experience recruiting for engineering, technical, manufacturing, supply chain, or quality roles
- Experience managing ATS systems and requisition workflows
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to partner with hiring managers and influence recruiting strategies
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or large-scale production environments
- High-volume recruiting experience
- Experience supporting salaried/professional hiring
- Familiarity with recruiting CRM tools and talent analytics
- Understanding of recruiting metrics and talent acquisition KPIs

- Complete candidate screenings and hiring manager presentations
- Coordinate interviews and hiring activities
- Maintain accurate recruiting data and documentation
- Collaborate with recruiters, coordinators, and business partners
