General Description:
The Medical Assistant provides specified patient care activities and is committed to the provision of patient centered/patient valued care.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Able to demonstrate basic patient care skills and skills in the use of clinical equipment and supplies.

Able to communicate effectively with patients, families and agency staff at all levels.

Must be experienced with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and data entry.

Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred.
Education and Experience:

Completion of an accredited medical assistant training program required.

Current healthcare provider CPR certification is required.

Certification of Hepatitis B vaccination series is required; can be provided upon hire if not already completed.

Medical Assistant certification is preferred.
-
2 years’ experience in a medical facility is preferred.

Bilingual is preferred.
