Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Kitchen Equipment Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various kitchen equipment in commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' appliances operate efficiently and effectively, contributing to their overall satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
Duties
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with kitchen equipment, including refrigerators, ovens, and dishwashers.
- Perform repairs on a variety of appliances, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand equipment functionality.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs and maintenance.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to prevent equipment failures.
- Operate a box truck for the delivery and installation of kitchen equipment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to improve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role focused on appliance or equipment repair.
- Familiarity with field service operations and customer service best practices.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to kitchen appliances and refrigeration systems.
- Experience reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes.
- A background in delivery driving is a plus but not required.
