Physical Therapist Assistant
NorthSound Physical Therapy – Stanwood, WA
Deliver the Care You Were Trained to Provide
At NorthSound Physical Therapy, we believe great patient outcomes come from giving clinicians the time, autonomy, and support they need to practice at their best.
We're looking for a compassionate, motivated Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing practice. Whether you're an experienced PTA or a recent graduate, you'll become part of a collaborative team that values clinical excellence, individualized care, and long-term professional growth.
Why NorthSound Physical Therapy?
Founded in 1992, NorthSound Physical Therapy remains 100% locally owned by practicing physical therapists. Unlike large corporate organizations, our clinics are led by active clinicians who make decisions based on what works best for their patients, staff, and community.
Many of our therapists have been with us for 15+ years, reflecting the supportive culture we've built over the past three decades.
What Makes Us Different
- 100% one-on-one patient care
- 45-minute appointments for every visit—evaluations, follow-ups, progress notes, and re-evaluations
- No double-booking of therapists
- Typical caseload of 9–13 patients per day, depending on your schedule
- Collaborative PT/PTA treatment teams that promote continuity of care
- Experienced PT Aides who assist with room setup, modalities, warm-ups, cool-downs, and clinic flow—allowing you to focus on patient care
- Flexible scheduling with 4x10 or 5x8 workweeks
- Clinical autonomy supported by experienced mentors and clinic leadership
Documentation & EMR
We use Prompt, a physical therapy–focused EMR that streamlines documentation, scheduling, billing, reporting, and practice analytics. Its intuitive interface and integrated tools—including Sidekick, Prompt’s AI-powered documentation assistant that helps clinicians efficiently capture and complete notes— dramatically reduce administrative burden and allow providers to spend more time focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
Our Culture
Our owners are active clinicians who believe the best ideas often come from the people providing patient care every day. We foster an environment of open communication, collaboration, mentorship, and professional autonomy.
As one of our founders explains:
"We are easily able to compete with the big organizations because our staff is empowered with an autonomous environment that supports individual practice styles, professional growth, and specialty development."
