Maintenance Manager
Our well-established manufacturing client is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for their team! Ideally seeking an engineer and a strategic maintenance professional who thrives on improving equipment uptime and efficiency, leading teams, and driving operational excellence, then consider this full-time, direct-hire role.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager
- Lead, mentor, develop, and assign workflow to a team of maintenance technicians
- Develop and enhance preventive and predictive maintenance programs
- Establish and track key maintenance performance metrics
- Analyze equipment performance and implement reliability improvements
- Lead root cause investigations and corrective action efforts
- Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve equipment efficiency and uptime
- Manage equipment installations, facility improvements, and capital projects
- Coordinate and oversee contractors, vendors, and service providers
- Manage spare parts inventory strategies for critical equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
- Present maintenance performance, project updates, and improvement initiatives to leadership
Qualifications of the Maintenance Manager
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field
- 10+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience managing maintenance teams
- Strong understanding of equipment troubleshooting, maintenance planning and efficiency
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and project management abilities
- Continuous improvement mindset
