Executive Assistant to the Senior Vice President - Granger National Bank
Position Overview
Granger National Bank is seeking a highly organized, professional, and proactive Executive Assistant to support the Senior Vice President. This position serves as a trusted partner to executive leadership, providing administrative, operational, and project coordination support while helping advance the Bank’s strategic objectives and daily operations.
The ideal candidate possesses excellent organizational and communication skills, exercises sound judgment, maintains strict confidentiality, and thrives in a fast-paced banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the Senior Vice President’s calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, executive summaries, meeting agendas, and board materials.
- Coordinate communications and scheduling with customers, vendors, attorneys, auditors, regulators, community partners, and bank leadership.
- Track strategic initiatives, special projects, deadlines, and follow-up action items to ensure timely completion.
- Organize and maintain confidential records, files, and sensitive information with the highest level of discretion.
- Assist with planning and coordination of leadership meetings, special events, and community functions.
- Conduct research, gather information, and compile reports to support executive decision-making and strategic planning.
- Monitor project progress and provide administrative support to ensure successful execution of leadership priorities.
- Serve as a liaison between executive leadership and internal personnel to promote effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of executive assistant, administrative, banking, financial services, or related professional experience preferred.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to interact effectively with executives, customers, directors, regulators, and community stakeholders.
