Summary: The Lunchroom Paraprofessional is responsible for ensuring the safety of students in both the lunchroom and playground areas.
Qualifications and Requirements

Previous work with school age students preferred.

Must be able to relate well to middle school students, school personnel, parents and the general public.

Must be able perform job responsibilities as listed below.
Essential Functions and Representative Duties

Provide and model directions for students on proper cafeteria manners.

Handle the transport and if necessary, administration of emergency medications.

Ensure cafeteria is a safe environment.

Be able to handle student disputes and concerns.

Work in cooperation with the principal.

Follow all program and district rules, policies and procedures.

Maintain professional attitude and loyalty to the school.

Treat each individual with respect and dignity.

Complete other duties as assigned by the principal.
Work Environment
Work is performed at Goodrich Middle School and may include other facilities of the district. There is limited exposure to physical risk.
REPORTS TO: Goodrich Middle School Principal
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10:00-12:30pm, Monday through Friday, student days only.
COMPENSATION: According to Master Agreement
