Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our medical team. As an X-ray Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and CT scans, as ordered by physicians
- Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols
- Review images for quality and ensure they meet diagnostic requirements
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to determine appropriate imaging techniques
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to all relevant regulations, including radiation safety guidelines
Qualifications:
- Valid certification as an X-ray Technician
- Previous experience working as an X-ray Technician preferred
- Proficient in operating X-ray equipment and other imaging technology
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
