As a Design Research Engineer, you will be part of the research and development department supporting advanced battery technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate curiosity, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?
- Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses related to battery materials and performance.
- Utilize agile processes and methodologies to support sensing and research initiatives.
- Analyze data from tests and experiments to derive meaningful insights and inform design improvements.
- Oversee research project schedules, budgets, and strategic direction to ensure successful outcomes.
- Communicate complex research concepts clearly to technical teams and management.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or a related science/engineering field, or equivalent experience in research capacity.
- Minimum of 2+ years relevant experience in research or engineering roles.
- Strong passion for research, problem-solving, and challenging existing paradigms.
- Working knowledge of Agile processes and methodologies.
- Experience in battery material characterization, manufacturing, and performance modeling, especially with lithium iron phosphate chemistry.
