Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of machinery to produce high-quality components and products efficiently. 12 hour shift rotations, 7pm-7:30am.
Duties
- Set up and operate various injection molding manufacturing machines.
- Read and interpret technical specifications to ensure accurate production.
- Program and troubleshoot equipment, mechanical aptitude required.
- Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and inspections on machinery to maintain optimal performance.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other tools to verify dimensions and quality standards.
- Handle materials safely using handling equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist in packaging processes as needed to meet production goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery within a factory or manufacturing facility.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings accurately.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers for quality control purposes.
- Valid forklift certification or experience with warehouse materials handling preferred.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to machining processes.
- Experience working on assembly lines or in fabrication environments is advantageous.
