Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Director of Nursing to lead and oversee the clinical operations at our senior living community. This role involves ensuring quality care, regulatory compliance, staff supervision, medication management, and resident wellness. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for senior care and the ability to manage complex situations with professionalism and empathy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure resident care is delivered safely and respectfully
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate with healthcare providers
- Oversee medication administration systems and audits
- Conduct resident assessments and maintain care plans
- Respond to family and resident concerns
- Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
- Recruit, train, and support care team members
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with active state license
- 2 years experience as a DON in Assisted Living
- Knowledge of dementia and Alzheimer’s care preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficient with electronic charting and basic office software
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and be on your feet for extended periods

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
