Responsibilities
- Monitor premises using CCTV systems and perform regular patrols to detect suspicious activity or safety hazards.
- Control access points by verifying identities and issuing visitor passes, ensuring only authorized personnel enter secure areas.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations by executing established procedures such as fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches.
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any unusual activities, safety concerns, or security incidents for record-keeping and follow-up.
- Conduct background checks on visitors or contractors as required to maintain compliance with security protocols.
- Assist with conflict de-escalation techniques to manage disputes calmly and professionally while maintaining a safe environment.
- Support emergency response efforts by operating AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators), performing first aid or CPR when necessary, and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services.
Requirements
- Proven ability to perform surveillance using CCTV cameras and other security monitoring tools effectively.
- Prior experience in security, military service, law enforcement, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of emergency response procedures including first aid, CPR, AED operation, and fire safety protocols.
- Physical capability to perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting and patrolling for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills for incident report writing, conflict management, and customer service interactions.
- Familiarity with access control systems and CCTV technology to monitor and secure premises efficiently.
- Ability to perform background checks on visitors or staff as part of security screening processes while adhering to compliance regulations.
