Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using established janitorial and custodial procedures
- Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, buffing, and carpet cleaning to ensure a spotless and safe environment
- Assist with light maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, repairing minor fixtures, and reporting larger repair needs to the appropriate team members
- Support housekeeping staff by replenishing supplies, delivering linens, and ensuring all areas are well-stocked and organized
- Conduct routine inspections of common areas to uphold cleanliness standards and identify any safety hazards or maintenance issues
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure personal safety and compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and uphold the high standards of our hospitality environment
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Basic knowledge of floor care techniques including sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods throughout shifts
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues and guests
