The Community Barber, Co is seeking talented and skilled Licensed Barbers/ Cosmetologists to join our team!
In this role, you will deliver exceptional grooming and styling services to our diverse clientele, ensuring each guest leaves feeling like they found their new safe space.
As a licensed professional, you will utilize your expertise in haircutting and shaving techniques to create personalized looks that enhance our clients’ style and self-esteem.

Duties
- Provide professional barbering services including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims using tools such as straight razors and scissors
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, adhering to health regulations and safety protocols
- Assist clients with hair styles, cuts, color and/ or braiding services
- Manage client appointments efficiently using barber software to ensure timely scheduling and follow-up
- Engage with clients through effective communication, understanding their preferences, offering styling advice, and upselling retail products like hair care items or merchandise
- Support store management by maintaining retail sales goals through product recommendations and client education
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license in accordance with state or local regulations
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on barbering or cosmetology services
- Strong knowledge of hair care techniques, including coloring, styling, hair extensions, and scalp treatments
- Excellent communication skills to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Knowledge of sanitation standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
