SUMMARY
The Kids Ministry Programming Associate at St. Andrews will be responsible for creating engaging age-appropriate worship environments for children by integrating music, media, technology and creative teaching methods to each of our environments on Sunday mornings. (Early Childhood, Early Elementary, and Pre-teen). This role supports the spiritual formation of children through worship and tech, ensuring that these elements run smoothly and effectively on Sundays.
ESSENTIAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Worship

Plan and lead weekly children’s worship (music, motions, engagement).

Work with the Children’s Minister and Early Childhood Coordinator to align Bible lessons with worship elements.
- Select songs that are Biblically sound, age-appropriate, and engaging.

Recruit, train, and schedule other volunteer worship leaders for Kidmin.
- Create a fun energetic and spiritually meaningful worship environment.
- Technology and Media

Be familiar with Pro-Presenter or willingness to learn.
- Prepare and manage presentation slides for 3 classrooms (lyrics, Bible verses, videos, etc.).

Train volunteers to operate the AV systems in classrooms. Help troubleshoot problems on Sunday mornings.

Work with the St. Andrews Tech/ AV Team to maintain working and organized equipment.
- Overall Children’s Ministry
- Ability to jump in to lead a Bible lesson for kids if needed.
- Provide a welcoming and loving atmosphere for children, parents, and other volunteers when serving in a Children’s Ministry Classroom.
- Help plan and produce events such as Vacation Bible School, Fall Fest, and other Children’s Ministry special events.
- Participate in Children’s Ministry training and planning.

Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years experience working with children.

Musical ability (guitar or keys strongly) preferred.

Experience with ProPresenter and Planning Center preferred.
