American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a hospital in Maryland, requiring a minimum of 2 years of L&D experience and multiple active certifications including NRP and AWHONN Intermediate.

Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
-
High-risk patient population including preeclampsia with severe features, gestational hypertension, diabetes, preterm labor, and placental abnormalities
-
Special procedures include D&C, cerclage, and Cook's catheter placement for induction
-
Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)

Every third weekend required

Floating required within the specialty as needed

Block scheduling and special scheduling requests cannot be accommodated — all RTO must be submitted at the time of initial application

Active RN license in the state of Maryland (MD state license required; compact license accepted)

Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and C-EFM

Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required; candidates with less than 2 years may be considered with strong experience and active certifications

Experience with high-risk deliveries and associated diagnoses preferred

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Holiday coverage required as holidays fall on the assigned schedule
