Nurse Coordinator – RN | Day Shift | Full-Time

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Nurse Coordinator opportunity within a collaborative hospital environment. This leadership role works directly under the Nurse Manager and plays a key role in supporting daily unit operations, staff oversight, quality initiatives, and patient care excellence.
The ideal candidate will have strong clinical leadership skills, experience supervising nursing staff, and the ability to help drive operational and quality improvement initiatives across the unit.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Nurse Manager with planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating unit nursing services
- Supervise and support nursing staff and daily unit operations
- Coordinate and oversee unit activities and workflow
- Collaborate on quality improvement initiatives and performance goals
- Monitor compliance with regulatory standards and staff requirements
- Support departmental budgeting and operational efficiency
- Maintain a positive, patient-focused environment while ensuring high standards of care
Qualifications
- Active Kentucky RN License required
- BSN required OR RN license obtained prior to July 1, 2015
- Minimum 2 years of related nursing experience required
- BCLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
