Summary
The Paint Line Operator is responsible for the efficient operation of the paint line machinery and equipment. The operator ensures that surfaces are properly prepared, coatings are applied accurately, and the final products meet quality specifications. The role involves managing the flow of materials through the paint line, monitoring equipment performance, and following established safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare parts or surfaces for painting, including cleaning, masking, and priming.
- Monitor the entire paint process to ensure consistency and quality.
- Load and unload parts on the paint line and hang parts on racks or conveyor systems as needed.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and troubleshooting of paint line equipment.
- Inspect painted products for defects such as runs, sags, thin spots, or imperfections.
- Track and document production data, such as materials used, production output, and maintenance activities.
- Handle chemicals and paints according to safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Follow safety protocols, including wearing protective gear (PPE), and ensure that the work area is clean and hazard-free.
- Coordinate with the quality control department to address any issues with painted surfaces.
- Communicate with supervisors and maintenance teams regarding any equipment malfunctions or production delays.

- 9 hours M-TH and 6 hours on Fri
- 1st shift
- Monday to Friday (Friday is a short day)
