ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties and responsibilities represent the essential functions of this job that an individual must be able to perform with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Builds and maintains relationships with veterans both internally and externally.
- Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Veteran Services programs, including Warrior Bridge and related initiatives.
- Engage Veteran Service Organizations and partners in information exchange, collaborative discussions, and expanded service coordination for veterans.
- Provides peer support, employment assistance, and resource navigation to improve the quality of life and access to resources for veterans and their families.
- Coordinates with and connects veterans to local employment, housing, and veterans' resources and training programs, and works directly with veterans to improve performance-based interviewing skills and assist with resume preparation to help veterans secure employment.
- Conducts outreach to homeless encampments, homeless shelters, and other locations.
- Establish and oversee systems for data collection, performance tracking, and outcome measurement across all Veteran Services programs.
- Ensure accurate and timely collection of program metrics required for grant reporting, compliance, and performance evaluation.
- Provide oversight of all program expenditures, ensuring full compliance with applicable grant requirements and Eggleston’s financial, accounting, and spending policies.
- Other duties as assigned.
Travels (up to 25%) locally for veteran case management, veterans service organizations, community partners, and veteran-supported communities.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE:
The following qualifications represent the training, education, certifications, licensures, and/or work experience required to perform the essential duties and responsibilities successfully:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or any combination of equivalent education and experience
- Minimum of two years of direct experience working with veterans and/or job placement
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred
- Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to organize, manage, and prioritize multiple tasks and quickly adapt to changes in job routines
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
Effective use of technology and information systems, including, but not limited to, Microsoft 365

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Physical demands: Performing the duties of this job requires near visual acuity, the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds, and gross manipulation. Additionally, the employee:
- Must be free of tuberculosis in a communicable form
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time (up to two hours)

Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be in an office or indoor setting, or externally in community settings. Indoor environmental conditions will vary according to the weather conditions prevalent at the time, and exposure to inclement weather and extreme temperature variations can be expected when in community settings. The noise level in the work environment will vary. While working with individuals with mental/physical disabilities, exposure to physical risks from behaviorally challenged individuals and contact exposure to human pathogens and/or biohazards is possible
