We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused professional to join our team at a 180-unit multifamily community in Norfolk, VA.

What You'll Do
-
Assist with the daily operations of a 180-unit affordable housing community

Welcome prospective and current residents while providing exceptional customer service

Handle walk-in traffic, incoming phone calls, and resident inquiries professionally

Support leasing activities, apartment tours, and application processing
-
Assist with resident files, certifications, and compliance documentation
-
Help resolve resident concerns and maintain positive resident relationships

Work closely with the Property Manager to ensure smooth community operations

Maintain accurate records and assist with administrative responsibilities
Qualifications
-
Previous Assistant Property Manager or Leasing experience in multifamily housing

Section 8 and HUD experience required

Strong leasing background with the ability to build rapport and close leases

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software

Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Preferred:

Affordable housing compliance experience

Experience working in larger multifamily communities
