Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Square POS , ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experiences and increase sales opportunities
- Handle food service responsibilities including serving, bussing tables, and assisting with food preparation when needed
- Maintain thorough knowledge of menu offerings, including wine pairings and daily specials, to answer guest questions confidently
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are upheld by following proper handling procedures and cleanliness protocols
- Manage cash handling accurately and process payments efficiently using POS systems
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service
- Experience with food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Basic math skills for cash handling and bill splitting
- Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is advantageous but not required
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- FoodHandlers Certificate
