Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team at a busy gas station convivence store. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers while accurately processing transactions and maintaining a clean and organized store.
(24-40 hrs per week)

Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process customer transactions efficiently
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries
- Promote special offers to enhance the shopping experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area, including stocking merchandise, and maintaining equipment
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling and retail transactions
Requirements
- Previous experience in cashiering preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations
- Experience with stocking products is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to the industry
