We are currently seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join our team at McRae Women's Facility located in McRae-Helena, Georgia.
The Medical Assistant works under the direction of the RN or LPN and is responsible for monitoring patient vital signs, implementing orders for diagnostic lab test, and assisting the Physician with minor procedures. Additionally responsibilities include recording EKGs, maintaining and cleaning medical equipment, and collecting data for Quality Improvement programs, as assigned.

Current Georgia Medical Assistant license/certification
Current CPR
Phlebotomy Certification Required
Corrections experience preferred, not required
Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
Available Shift: Days, 5 shifts per week 7am-3:30pm. with some weekends
