Summary:
The BSA Alert Analyst is responsible for performing core BSA/AML compliance functions including alert review, customer risk profiling, due diligence reviews, CTR processing, and ongoing monitoring activities. This role focuses on first-line analytical review and program execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitoring AML alerts within the Bank’s BSA/AML monitoring software. Researching, tracking, and monitoring alerts. Determine when alerts should be upgraded to a case for enhanced review.

Review high-risk customer accounts, including third party payment processors and independent ATM owners.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including FinTech, Deposit Operations, and internal audit, to ensure compliance considerations are integrated into business processes.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date compliance documentation, including policies, procedures, and audit trails.

Provide compliance training and support to employees across the organization, helping to promote a culture of compliance.

Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in BSA and banking compliance.

Education And/Or Experience:

Associate’s degree in finance, business administration legal studies, or related field preferred.

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Banking, BSA, Fraud or Compliance roles within the Financial Services, Financial Technology, or Payments industry.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Functional knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Strong understanding of relevant financial regulations.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and trends to inform decision-making.

Physical Requirements:

Must exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
