About us
Miami Vision Therapy is a specialty optometry practice in Pinecrest/South Miami that helps children (and adults) whose vision problems interfere with reading, learning, and life — many of our patients are kids who "see 20/20" but struggle in school until we find and treat the real problem. We're a small, close-knit, growing team that genuinely changes lives, and we're expanding our space and our staff. Check us out at www.miamivt.com!
The role
You're the welcoming face of our practice — the first and last impression every family gets. Afternoons, evenings, and Saturdays, you'll run the front of our office:
- Greet and check in families; keep the front of the office warm, organized, and running smoothly
- Answer phones and help families schedule the right appointments
- Confirm the next day's appointments and send patients their intake forms
- Take payments, print receipts, and keep accurate records (we'll train you on our systems)
- Present program agreements and payment options to families (after training)
- Learn our optical department well enough to help patients choose and purchase glasses
- Run our social media — capture fun and meaningful office moments and post to Instagram and Facebook; keep our accounts active and on-brand
- Help keep the office stocked, celebrate team birthdays and holidays, and close the office at the end of the day
Who you are
- Warm and personable in person and on the phone — kids and parents feel at ease with you
- Genuinely good with social media — comfortable with Instagram, Reels, and short video
- Calm under pace, detail-oriented, and comfortable with numbers (payment options, discounts)
- Trustworthy with money, contracts, and closing responsibilities
- Curious about vision therapy and excited to learn (no optical experience required — we train)
- Bilingual English/Spanish a plus
Perks
- Free annual eye exam + complimentary lenses
- Gift of Sight — once a year, give free vision care to someone you choose
- Weekly team lunch on Wednesdays, birthday celebrations, stocked snacks, supportive team culture
- ...and more!
