Duties
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, appliances, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Troubleshoot and repair various mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration issues using schematics and technical manuals.
- Conduct appliance repairs and service tasks efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring safety standards are met.
- Utilize HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning/ Refrigeration) knowledge to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
- Lead small maintenance projects or construction tasks as needed, coordinating with team members to complete work safely and on schedule.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for accountability and future reference.
- Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize operational disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair, HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and equipment troubleshooting.
- Proven service technician experience with the ability to diagnose complex mechanical or electrical issues accurately.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems including air conditioning units and ventilation systems.
- Construction or building maintenance experience is a plus for handling facility upgrades or renovations.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to guide junior team members or coordinate maintenance projects effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to maintenance challenges.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high safety standards. Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
