What You'll Do
- Prepare high-quality ingredients according to our recipes and standards
- Fabricate meats and seafood, prepare vegetables, stocks, sauces, pasta, doughs, desserts, and baked goods
- Execute prep with precision while maintaining consistency and proper yields
- Maintain an exceptionally clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout every shift
- Properly label, date, rotate, and store all products using FIFO standards
- Maintain and care for kitchen equipment, tools, and smallwares
- Communicate effectively with chefs and teammates to ensure service readiness
- Take ownership of your station and leave it better than you found it
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a scratch, fine dining, or upscale restaurant kitchen
- Strong knife skills and fundamental cooking techniques
- Experience making fresh pasta, bread, doughs, and sauces is highly preferred
- Ability to work efficiently without sacrificing quality
- A strong sense of urgency, professionalism, and accountability
- Ability to receive feedback and continuously improve
- Dependable attendance and a positive, team-first attitude
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
