Overview
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our veterinary diagnostic team. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting herd health and agricultural quality by preparing, testing, and processing feed and raw milk samples.
Duties
- Receive, log, and prepare incoming feed and milk samples following standard operating procedures.
- Perform routine chemical, microbiological, and quality analysis on samples.
- Maintain, calibrate, and clean laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Accurately enter test data into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Adhere to strict safety, sanitation, and quality control guidelines.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or a degree in animal science, biology, chemistry, or agriculture preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Previous experience in a diagnostic lab, agricultural setting, or veterinary environment is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow precise protocols and handle high sample volumes efficiently.
- Basic computer proficiency for data entry.
Work Schedule, Compensation & Benefits
- Work Schedule: Full-time, ~40 hours per week (Typical shifts run 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM; 5 day workweek may include Saturday or Sunday).

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
