DSW Homes, LLC is seeking an experienced, reliable, and results‑driven Construction Coordinator to support our growing residential construction portfolio in the Orlando and Central Florida region. Reporting to the Program Manager, this role is responsible for overseeing project administration and coordination activities for residential rehabilitation and new construction projects in a scattered‑site environment.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized, detail‑oriented professional with strong communication skills and the ability to manage permitting, documentation, schedules, budgets, and compliance requirements across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Permitting
- Coordinate and support daily production activities for multiple construction projects
- Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with scheduling, documentation, and task tracking
- Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, permits, change orders, and budgets
- Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project timelines are met
- Track material orders, deliveries, and inventory levels as needed
- Monitor project progress and report updates to leadership
- Help ensure compliance with company standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare reports, correspondence, and other administrative documents as needed
- Assist with problem-solving and issue resolution to keep projects on track
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience in residential construction, rehabilitation, and/or new home construction
- Permitting experience
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and administrative workflows simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn firm‑specific construction/project management software
- Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Adaptable to changing project priorities and deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- College coursework or degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience supporting projects in a scattered‑site or multi‑location environment
- Familiarity with Florida permitting processes and building codes
