Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Shift Manager/FOH (Front of House) Manager to lead our dynamic restaurant team. - Supervise front-of-house staff during shifts, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high standards of service and hospitality
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality and consistency in line with brand standards
- Manage POS system for order processing, billing, and cash handling with accuracy and integrity
- Ensure efficient kitchen operations by coordinating with kitchen management on food production, inventory control, and food safety protocols
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and create a positive dining experience for all guests
- Monitor inventory levels of food, beverages, and supplies; assist with ordering and stock management to minimize waste
- Train new team members on service procedures, food handling safety, and restaurant policies while fostering a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision within quick service or fast food environments
- Strong knowledge of Toast POS system; experience with cash handling is essential
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous staff training, team management, and interviewing experience
- Familiarity with food safety standards
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Prior experience managing inventory control, budgeting, or food management is highly desirable
- Knowledge of hospitality management principles including kitchen management, catering operations, and bar service is a plus
This is an entry-level role with a focus more on customer experience and staff management than administrative tasks. Pay is based on experience and at an hourly rate.
