Bluestem PACE is seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Life Enrichment Associate to join our team. Working hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm. Assist the Recreational Therapist in developing, implementing, and coordinating activity programs tailored to the needs and interests of participants.

Supervise and facilitate group and individual activities such as arts and crafts, exercise, games, music events, bingo, baking, trivia, and holiday celebrations in the Day Center or Alternative Care Setting.

Maintain close contact with participants to ensure their social, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.

Monitor and document participants engagement and progress in activities, maintaining accurate records as required by state and federal regulations.

Read and follow care plans to provide appropriate daily activities for each participant.

Stay informed about current regulations and standards, and assist in developing policies and procedures as needed.

Complete required paperwork and documentation in accordance with organizational policies and workflows.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous experience working with older adults in an activity program is required.

Ability to work effectively with participants at varying levels of mental and physical functioning.

Demonstrated patience, a cheerful disposition, and strong interpersonal skills when interacting with participants, staff, and visitors.

Physical ability to perform medium work, including exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
