Duties

Act as a positive role model.
- Work with team members to ensure fun and engaging environment for children as well as peers.

Prepare and organize daily activities to engage the students.

Establish and maintain classroom rules and environment conducive to learning and studying.

Assist with maintaining accurate attendance records for each student in attendance.

Communicate effectively with parents.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Director of Auxiliary.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of related experience.

Must be extremely confidential and self-motivated with proven communication skills.

Must be computer literate and have a desire to learn.
- Have a willingness to be flexible and the desire to serve the entire school constituency.
- Extreme attention to detail is required.
- Must have good people skills.

Ability to follow through tasks to completion.
Physical Requirements
- Must be physically able to age appropriately address the needs of the students for example; lifting small children, assisting with their physical needs, and maintaining control of the classroom; especially if left in total supervision of the classroom.

Work primarily in a traditional climate-controlled classroom environment, with flexibility to also work intermittently in outside weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold.

Must have work experience in a supervisory capacity
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

Have ability to lift, move, push/pull up to 50 pounds if necessary.

Must be able to operate office equipment.

Ability to move around campus, inside and outside, to observe program.
