We're looking for an experienced Electrician I to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a variety of work and wants to be part of a company where craftsmanship and customer service still matter.
Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in residential and light commercial buildings
- Install and replace electrical panels, breakers, receptacles, switches, lighting, and equipment
- Perform service upgrades and electrical remodel work
- Diagnose electrical issues and recommend solutions
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics
- Ensure all work complies with NEC and local codes
- Communicate professionally with customers
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle and work area
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Qualifications
Required
- 3+ years of residential and/or light commercial electrical experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and work on ladders, rooftops, crawl spaces, and in varying weather conditions
Preferred
- Illinois Journeyman Electrician experience
- Experience with commercial service work
- Experience installing generators, EV chargers, or service upgrades
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification
