Work Setting: In-person (All in office/field)
Hazen is seeking an intern in our Cincinnati office. As part of our design and process teams, you will work on a variety of water-related assignments. Project opportunities include drinking water treatment facilities and distribution systems, wastewater treatment facilities, sewer and stormwater collection systems, and other water resource management projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Work directly with experienced engineering team providing mentoring opportunities to learn and develop
-
Sit on a project team from initial studies and conceptual design through construction
-
Assist in preparing engineering deliverables, including sampling studies, condition assessments, hydraulics, and design reports

Manage data for process modeling and design

Coordinate with manufacturers and vendors to select equipment

Participate in fieldwork and local site visits
Required Qualifications:
-
Currently enrolled in an ABET-accredited Bachelor’s/Master’s degree program

Strong written & verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and in group settings.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
