Crew Leads are responsible for overseeing and performing the daily pressure washing jobs as required by our procedures. Crew Leads will lead teams of two to three to complete jobs using brushes and pressure sprayers. Crew Leads must work quickly and effectively by following our wash sequence. This is a physically demanding outdoor job; Crew Leads will be working in very hot, very cold or wet conditions. Lead crew members must be able to spend long periods of time crouching, kneeling and reaching. Work hours vary and may exceed 12 hours per day.
Daily Responsibilities:
Prepare trucks for the day
- load supplies
- check fuel levels
Drive to and back from each customer sites safely and efficiently
Perform service at customer site
- clean interior and/or exterior of commercial trucks with hand brushes
- use reclaim device
- use pressure washer
Document Service
- log all washes in database or on paper logs as required
- Take before and after photos of vehicles
Perform Maintenance on equipment
- change filters
- wash equipment
- troubleshoot and fix equipment failure
Must be available nights, weekends and holidays!
Must be able to Safely...
- Perform lifting/pushing/pulling of brushes to clean trucks
- Lift and Carry 50 lbs
- Walk 5+ miles a day
- Bend and kneel for extended periods of time
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record is REQUIRED
- ABILITY TO OBTAIN A DOT MEDICAL CARD REQUIRED
- Experience running a crew is REQUIRED
- Experience driving a box truck or equivalent is REQUIRED
- Customer service skills REQUIRED
- Dependability is essential to the job
- Good communication skills and automotive detailing knowledge
- Must be able to operate various truck washing equipment. Technical capability is required.
- Previous truck washing experience is a plus!
- Successfully pass a pre-employment 5 panel drug test and background check.
