Position Summary
The Physician Liaison / Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for building and maintaining referral relationships with healthcare providers, therapists, schools, and other community organizations. This role focuses on increasing awareness of our services and supporting sustainable practice growth through professional relationship development.
This position is ideal for someone who is outgoing, organized, and passionate about improving access to mental health care.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain referral relationships with pediatricians, therapists, psychologists, and medical providers
- Conduct in-person visits to medical offices, therapy practices, and community organizations
- Educate providers and referral sources about our psychological evaluation and psychiatry services
- Identify and build relationships with new referral sources
- Coordinate outreach efforts to schools, therapy practices, and healthcare providers
- Track outreach activities and referral relationships
- Represent Best Life Mental Health & Wellness professionally in the community
- Assist with planning community events and professional networking opportunities
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare outreach, medical sales, or provider relations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Professional, friendly, and confident demeanor
- Ability to build relationships and establish trust
- Organized and self-motivated
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
- Experience working in healthcare, mental health, or medical office settings preferred but not required
