Job Description:
The Woolfolk School of Communication Sciences and Disorders seeks a full-time clinical faculty member in speech-language pathology beginning in fall 2026. Responsibilities include clinical supervision of graduate students evaluating and treating client disorders that align with faculty area(s) of expertise in our campus clinic, the Harry Jersig Speech-Language-Hearing Center. Additional responsibilities include involvement in school and university committees, assist teaching our clinic course, and recruitment for our programs.
The Woolfolk School of Communication Sciences and Disorders is housed within the College of Professional Studies and includes the Harry Jersig Speech-Language-Hearing Center. The Center offers diagnostic and treatment services to children and adults for a variety of communication and swallowing disorders, and includes labs in child language/ multicultural diversity, and voice & swallowing. The school consists of a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Sciences and Disorders Program, a Communication Sciences and Disorders Post-Baccalaureate Leveling Certificate Program, a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Communication Sciences and Disorders Program, and a Clinical Doctorate in Speech-Language Pathology Doctorate (SLPD) program.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates will have obtained a M.A./M.S. degree in communication sciences and disorders/speech pathology. A SLPD degree is preferred. The selected candidate must hold or be able to obtain TX licensure for speech-language pathology and hold a minimum of two years ASHA certification in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP). A minimum of three years supervisory experience is preferred. The position will begin fall 2026.

The Woolfolk School of Communication Sciences and Disorders was named in 2017 after its founder, Dr. Elizabeth Carrow Woolfolk, OLLU alumna and internationally recognized scholar in the field of communication sciences, and her husband, Robert M. Woolfolk.
OLLU is a leader in the field of communication disorders and established its first program more than 70 years ago, combining professional training with clinical service in the Harry Jersig Speech-Language-Hearing Center. The Woolfolk School offers bachelor's, master's, and doctorate degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology as well as a post-baccalaureate leveling program. OLLU's graduate training program has been accredited in speech-language pathology since 1969 by the Council on Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
