Hillcrest Development, LLLP, a third generation redeveloper of commercial real estate, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician for properties primarily in the Minneapolis and Edina, MN areas. The properties include office, industrial, warehouse and medical users. The position is available immediately and is offered with a competitive compensation and benefits package.
The Work:
This position works closely with our property maintenance and property management staff to maintain all building operating systems, and the overall condition of our properties while providing a safe and comfortable environment for our tenants. This individual also performs daily monitoring, inspection and maintenance of buildings and grounds to prevent or resolve issues, utilizing specialty vendors as needed.
The Requirements:
- Three or more years of experience in commercial building maintenance.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, navigate ladders, and work from heights or in tight spaces.
- Personable demeanor in interaction with tenants, staff and outside vendors.
- Willingness to take direction from management and perform all activities deemed necessary for property operations and support of our tenants.
- Availability to be on-call on a alternating schedule outside regular Monday to Friday hours with use of a personal vehicle. Overtime pay is provided.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Clean driving record and satisfactory pre-employment screening.
- Boilers license

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
